Kabet | Mistress | Other Woman

This is the movie entitled The Mistress by Bea Alonzo

the story goes on like this, she owns a tailor shop, but her family is not that well off, and.. she's a mistress. Mistress of this old man below.

then after some time, the son of that old man tried to find the mistress of his father. and he did alright. but .. he also fell for the mistress.

oh and by the way, the picture on the right side is the wife of the old man and ofcourse the mother of the young man. (ang gulong mga pangyayari) :")

one of the quoted lines in the movie:

"walang babaeng pinangarap maging kabet."

"hindi lahat nang gusto mo makukuha mo"

and this one is entitled When the love is gone. Cristine Reyes is the mistress here.

i haven't watch the movie yet so i don't have any feedback on this. but i do know the story line maybe because i've watched the old version of this. it was pretty sad for the family. 

from left, the wife then husband, mistress, daughter of the wife, and the boyfriend of the daughter and i think he also became the lover of the mistress. i'm not really sure but i'm open for corrections anyway. haha!

their love scene.
 they said that the movie or the scenes with the mistress are full of love making. well yeah ofcourse! you're a mistress! lots of fucking.:))

and here's what i'm thinking..
yes. i love those movies. but the doings or the concept? NO. of course. because its bad.

and lets try to evaluate or break down the role of being a mistress.

#1 kabit ka nga. it means you're the second lover. you don't deserve the love or attention and most especially the respect that you should be getting.

#2 you can't ask for what you want and need. you just wait for whatever you're lover will give you. whether it's money for support or time for bonding. (because he will prioritize his family and kids.)

#3 since you are his mistress, he should be giving you 'support' like houses, money, and of course lots of sex. because sex is actually the main reason why he made you his other woman.

#4 mistresses should not get emotionally attached. because once you have, you'll just be the one to suffer. you will ask for the things that a normal relationship have. and you know that you'll never get it no matter what.

#5 you were asked to be his mistress because he is looking for fun and the feeling to be young again. plus sex.

#6 ..and on your part, maybe the reason why you approved of that request from him is that you are after the material things that he can give you, and fun of it all plus a good sex.

#7 you are a mistress, considered to be the other woman, orrr maybe the man is also thinking that you are cheap or a prostitute perhaps. (soo bad of him)

#8 you have to make him feel loved. provide his needs. be a loving, caring, and seductive woman he ever met.

#9 you know that it will lead to no where. he will always choose his family over you. When confrontations happen he might leave you and you'll get to be mocked in front of everyone.

so the lesson of it all?
 If you choose to be a mistress, it's alright! Just know where you stand and what to expect. 
And if you decided not to be that other woman, well good for you! but you might have let a good chance pass you by. :)
